Using carefully selected hotels as a base, we make daily excursions both on foot, and also by vehicle, to explore the best that each area has to offer.

Each trip has a wide spectrum of interests and often a specific focus: flowers, art, mushrooms etc. These are, however, trips that everyone will enjoy. Exposure to the delights of discovery is not just the purpose of ATG trips, it is the raison d'être of travel.

Discovering Europe trips are accompanied by an ATG Leader and Manager. Discovering Worldwide trips are accompanied by ATG specialist leaders and experienced local guides.

 

The attractions of Discovering trips are the high quality accommodation, the mobility afforded by our optional transportation, whether by minibus, boat or camel - creating many exciting opportunities for unique experiences, and not least going on a trip with specific focus of interest.

 

Each trip has been structured so that either an ATG deluxe air-conditioned Mercedes minibus, or other transportation (eg a 4x4WD/camel) is always available – so you can walk as much or as little as you like.

 

Hotels and restaurants are usually the best on each route, many of which have been looking after ATG clients for many years.
